- Design & Development: Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings (e.g., in SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing) to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Problem Solving: Iterate and modify designs based on testing results and manufacturing feedback
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor) and FEA/CFD analysis software.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, and manufacturing processes (e.g., plastic injection molding, sheet metal).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to present technical information
