Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Jewelry CAD Designer with strong expertise in 3D jewelry modeling and manufacturing-oriented design. The ideal candidate should be proficient in jewelry CAD software, understand gem setting and production processes, and be capable of converting design concepts into accurate, production-ready 3D models. Strong hands-on expertise in ZBrush is the most important requirement.

Key Skills & Requirements

1. Proficiency in jewelry CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, 3ds Max, Alias, or similar. Mandatory / Most Key: Strong hands-on knowledge of ZBrush software.

2. Ability to create 3D jewelry models and support 3D printing of wax models.

3. Strong understanding of jewelry design principles, including gem setting, metalworking, and manufacturing processes.

4. Excellent attention to detail and precision in 3D modeling, technical drawings, dimensions, and settings.

5. Ability to interpret design concepts and accurately convert sketches/specifications into technical drawings and 3D models.

6. Good knowledge of rendering, jewelry production, diamond jewelry, and general computer applications.

7. Creativity, an eye for innovative and aesthetically pleasing jewelry designs, and passion for jewelry design.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, gemologists, and production teams.

9. Proven experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer or in a similar role, supported by a strong portfolio in 3D modeling and jewelry design.

10. Familiarity with jewelry production processes, prototyping, and quality control.



Key Responsibilities

Design Creation:

Develop high-quality 3D CAD models of jewelry designs based on sketches, concepts, and specifications.

Concept Development: Translate jewelry concepts into accurate technical drawings and production-ready 3D models.

3D Modeling: Create detailed and precise jewelry models using CAD software, with correct proportions and manufacturing feasibility.

Technical Expertise: Prepare technical drawings with dimensions, stone settings, assembly details, and other production specifications.

ZBrush Modeling: Use ZBrush extensively for detailed sculpting and modeling of jewelry designs as required by the design and production teams.

Collaboration: Work closely with jewelry designers, gemologists, and production teams to ensure designs meet quality standards and are feasible for manufacturing. Prototyping: Assist in prototype development, including 3D printing/wax model requirements, and modify CAD models based on feedback and testing.

Trend Research: Stay updated on jewelry trends, materials, techniques, and design innovations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design iterations, modifications, and technical specifications.

Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design or technical issues during the design and production process.

Ideal Candidate

A detail-oriented and creative Jewelry CAD professional with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong jewelry manufacturing knowledge, and proven ability to produce accurate, production-ready 3D models. Candidates with excellent ZBrush expertise and a strong jewelry CAD portfolio will be preferred

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
