Role - QA Head
Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience - 5 to 8 Years in Quality Assurance
Package - 7 LPA - 9 LPA

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Design, implement, and continuously strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) across incoming, in-process, and finished goods stages.
- Lead incoming material inspection to ensure raw materials, bought-out components, and sub-assemblies meet specification.
- Establish in-process quality checkpoints across fabrication, machining, and assembly to catch deviations early.
- Own final/finished goods inspection and sign-off prior to dispatch, ensuring machines meet customer and design specifications.
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits, and coordinate external/customer audits and certifications (e.g. ISO).
- Drive non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) closure.
- Develop and monitor vendor/supplier quality performance, and drive vendor quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain calibration schedules for gauges, instruments,



and testing equipment.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and quality KPIs (rejection rate, customer complaints, audit findings).
- Coordinate with production, design, Sales and service teams on quality-related field feedback and continuous improvement.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE:

- Ginning and cotton processing machinery manufacturing.
- Lint cleaner, spin press, or allied cotton equipment manufacturing.
- Heavy fabrication / industrial machinery quality assurance.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Solid working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit methodologies.
- Solid understanding of incoming, process, and finished goods inspection techniques and standards.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Good communication skills to work across production, design, vendors, and customers.
