Role Summary

We are seeking a visionary and technically accomplished Lead AI/ML Skilled (10+ Years) on behalf of our premier financial technology client in Pune. In this critical leadership role, you will take absolute ownership of specialized AI product pods across Credit Risk, Fraud Detection, and Collections/Recovery. You will act as both a people leader and architectural anchor—building, scaling, and governing production-grade machine learning systems that protect portfolio health and minimize credit risk.

Responsibilities

- AI Product Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale specialized AI/ML engineering pods to drive business-critical credit, fraud, and automated recovery outcomes.
- Architecture & Scale: Design, deploy, and maintain robust, production-scale ML systems using distributed computing frameworks.
- Risk & Predictive Modeling: Architect cutting-edge Early Warning Systems (EWS), Portfolio Monitoring frameworks, Propensity Models, and Graph ML topologies to proactively map fraud vectors.
- Streaming & Event Processing: Oversee real-time model scoring and pipeline integrations using active stream-processing engines.
- End-to-End MLOps: Institutionalize robust MLOps standards for orchestration, model deployment, drift monitoring, and scalable containerization.
- Model Governance & Compliance: Enforce rigid Model Risk Management (MRM) frameworks, data privacy compliance,



and banking regulatory standards.

Mandatory Technical Stack:

- Languages & Core Compute: Advanced proficiency in Python and distributed computing via Apache Spark.
- Streaming & Orchestration: Direct experience with Kafka event streams and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- ML Infrastructure: Comprehensive, hands-on mastery of modern MLOps platforms (model tracking, registries, and automated pipelines).

Domain Expertise Requirements:

- Verifiable history of building production systems within Credit Risk, Fraud Detection, Collections, or Asset Recovery.
- Deep familiarity with Graph ML, pattern anomaly mapping, and portfolio monitoring.
- Current or most recent designation must be Lead Engineer, Principal Data Scientist, or above.

Experience & Qualifications

- Overall Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or AI Engineering.
- Industry Background: Core experience within BFSI, Banking, FinTech, or NBFC environments is strictly mandatory.
- Academic Background: B.Tech or M.Tech from premium institutes (IIT / NIT / BITS heavily preferred).
- Leadership Traits: Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and clear technical mentoring capabilities.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹6,500,000.00 per year
