About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate understands short-form content, storytelling, pacing, hooks, trends, subtitles, transitions, and social-media-first editing.

Key Responsibilities

* Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, and long-form videos.

* Turn raw footage into engaging, story-driven content.

* Add captions, subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and music.

* Create strong hooks and maintain viewer retention through effective pacing.

* Adapt videos to different formats and platforms.

* Work with the content and social media teams to execute creative concepts.

* Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across client content.

* Research current editing styles, trends, sounds, and formats.

* Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.

* Organize project files, footage, assets, and final exports efficiently.

Requirements

* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro.

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects is preferred.

* Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.

* Good sense of storytelling, timing, composition,



and visual aesthetics.

* Ability to select the right music, sound effects, B-roll, and visual elements.

* Understanding of social-media trends and audience retention.

* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

* Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with creative formats.

Preferred Skills

* Motion graphics

* Kinetic typography

* Color correction and basic color grading

* Sound design

* Green-screen editing

* AI-assisted video editing tools

* Experience editing content for brands, creators, or agencies

What We’re Looking For

Someone who doesn’t just “cut videos”, but understands why a video works.

You should be able to look at raw footage and identify:

* What should be the hook?

* Where will viewers lose interest?

* What should be cut?

* Where should B-roll or text appear?

* How can the first 3 seconds be stronger?

* How can the overall video become more engaging?
