About the Role

Tint Tone & Shade is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 2–3 years of experience to handle the editing and post-production of podcast content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of long-form video editing, storytelling, audio quality, camera angles, pacing, and creating engaging short-form content from podcast episodes.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Sync and edit footage from multiple cameras and audio sources.
- Select the best camera angles and create smooth, engaging multi-camera edits.
- Clean and enhance dialogue, remove background noise, and maintain consistent audio levels.
- Add suitable transitions, graphics, lower thirds, subtitles, titles, and other visual elements.
- Create engaging short clips, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional snippets from podcast episodes.
- Identify key moments, conversations, and highlights that can be repurposed into short-form content.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Add B-roll, images, animations, sound effects, and supporting visuals wherever required.
- Maintain consistency in the podcast's visual identity and editing style.
- Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand episode requirements.
- Manage multiple episodes and deliver edited content within agreed timelines.
- Organise and maintain raw footage, project files, audio files, and final exports.

Requirements





- 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or interview-based content.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Experience with multi-camera editing and audio-video synchronisation.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, framing, and continuity.
- Good knowledge of audio editing, noise reduction, dialogue cleanup, and sound balancing.
- Experience creating short-form content from long-form videos.
- Basic knowledge of colour correction and colour grading.
- Good understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and other social media video formats.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across episodes.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio/showreel demonstrating podcast, interview, or long-form video editing is required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with podcasts, interviews, panel discussions, webinars, or talking-head content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and After Effects.
- Ability to create engaging animated titles, lower thirds, captions, and visual callouts.
- Understanding of YouTube retention and audience engagement.
- Knowledge of current Reels and Shorts editing trends.
- Basic understanding of camera formats, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and aspect ratios.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
