Qualifications & Credentials

- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing / BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the relevant Nursing Council / State Board.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Specialized certifications (e.g., Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing, Critical Care (CCRN) depending on specialty).
- Experience: Typically 2–5+ years of hands-on clinical nursing experience in hospital, acute care, or specialized clinical environments.

Core Competencies & Skills

- Clinical Assessment & Care: Physical health assessments, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, IV line insertion, wound management, and care planning.
- Critical Thinking & Emergency Response: Rapid identification of deteriorating patient conditions, emergency triage, and resuscitation protocols.
- Patient & Family Education: Pre- and post-operative guidance, discharge planning, and health maintenance instruction.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Mentoring junior staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, pharmacists, physical therapists), and shift charge responsibilities.
- EHR & Documentation: Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems, ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with medical standards.

Job Responsibilities (Standard Job Description)

- Direct Patient Care: Perform head-to-toe patient assessments, monitor critical parameters,



and deliver evidence-based nursing care according to physician orders.
- Medication Management: Safely prepare, calculate, and administer oral, IV, and parenteral medications while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and allied healthcare staff to formulate and revise individual patient care plans.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time clinical notes, treatment records, and fluid/medication charts in adherence to legal and hospital protocols.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly follow infection control protocols, patient safety goals, and hospital quality standards.
- Patient Advocacy & Support: Provide empathetic emotional support and address patient and family concerns throughout treatment.
