Company Description BBS GLOBAL PVT. LTD. is a manufacturer and exporter of protective workwear, flame-resistant (FR) and high-visibility garments, and other qualified clothing for diverse industries.
This is a full-time on-site Industrial Engineer position located in Kolkata. The Industrial Engineer will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, developing process improvements, implementing efficiency strategies, and ensuring the production meets quality standards. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to achieve organisational goals.
Job Description:
- Time and Motion studies to drive SAM Calculation for WORKWEAR GARMENTS
- Cycle time, operation bulletin
- Prepare operation bulletins, line layouts, and capacity studies for new styles, leading pre-production meetings.
- Balance production lines, monitor hourly output, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements taking learning curve into consideration.
- Should be inclined to learning based on LEAN Approach manufacturing
- Optimising efficiency and productivity
- Designing of work aids, attachments etc to simplify the operations
- De-skilling degree of difficulty of operations.
- Reduction of SAM with the use of Technical Engineering Methods and work aids
- Reduction of Changeover Time
- Calculation of consumption of trims like, Thread, Draw cord etc..
Qualifications
- Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related field from NIFT or similar institutes.
- Work experience of 1-3 Years
- Good Communication Skills for effective collaboration and coordination within teams.
- Experience in Process Improvement to identify and implement operational enhancements.
- Experience within the workwear manufacturing organisation is a Plus.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
