About the Role:

Administers the Oracle 19c database estate (112 instances, ~1,272 TB across Prod and Non-Prod), covering performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery and capacity planning for one of the two highest alert-volume domains in the confirmed historical data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Database administration, backup/recovery and housekeeping
- Performance tuning and capacity planning
- HA/clustering operations and patching/upgrades
- Security hardening and vendor (Oracle) escalation

Required Skills:

- Oracle 19c database administration
- RAC, Data Guard and ASM configuration and operations
- Performance tuning using AWR/ADDM and related diagnostics
- RMAN backup and recovery operations
- Oracle Enterprise Manager administration
- Capacity planning,



patching and security hardening.

Certifications:

Mandatory

● Oracle Certified Qualified (OCP) - Database Administration

Preferred/Advantageous

- Oracle Certified Master (senior role)
- Oracle Data Guard/RAC specialization
- ITIL Foundation

Soft Skills & Attributes:

- Calm, methodical incident response given billing-platform criticality
- Strong attention to detail in performance diagnostics
- Effective collaboration with application teams on tuning
