- Set and monitor individual and team sales targets.
- Generate new business leads through field visits, networking, cold calling and references.
- Identify new clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct regular client visits and develop strong customer relationships.
- Understand client requirements and promote company services.
- Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations and proposals.
- Convert leads into confirmed business and achieve sales targets.
- Motivate and guide the BD team to improve performance.
- Monitor daily field activities, leads and business conversions.
- Develop new markets and customer segments.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, laboratory and accounts teams.
- Follow up with clients for pending payments and collections.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills are required.
- Candidate should be target-oriented, self-motivated and willing to travel extensively.
- Experience in Food Testing, Environmental Testing, Laboratory or Water Testing will be an added advantage.
