Quality Executive – Furniture Industry (Job Profile for Advertisement)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Executive for our furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality standards across all stages of production, including raw materials, woodwork, metal frames, upholstery, sewing, assembly, finishing, and final inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections of incoming raw materials, wood, fabric, leather, foam, metal parts, and hardware.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of furniture products.
- Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Ensure product specifications, dimensions, finishing, stitching, and assembly standards are maintained.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive actions.




- Coordinate with suppliers regarding material quality concerns.
- Support customer complaint handling and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain quality documents, SOPs, checklists, and inspection standards.
- Ensure compliance with company quality systems and safety requirements.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of wood, upholstery, foam, fabric, leather, metal frame, and finishing quality standards.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Quality Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2 to 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience in sofa, chair, wooden, or upholstered furniture quality inspection preferred.

Salary

- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Pay: From ₹28,000.00 per month
