About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our early intervention and pediatric therapy team. The therapist will work with children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional difficulties and provide individualized, child-centred intervention.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and identify the child’s functional strengths and areas of difficulty.
- Plan and implement individualized therapy goals and intervention programs.
- Provide one-to-one pediatric OT sessions focusing on:
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Visual-motor and perceptual skills
- Handwriting and pre-writing skills
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bilateral coordination and motor planning
- Attention, participation, and functional independence
- Use appropriate sensory-motor and play-based activities during therapy.
- Maintain accurate session notes, progress records, assessment reports, and treatment plans.
- Regularly monitor and document the child’s progress and modify goals when required.
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide appropriate home-program recommendations.
- Collaborate with Special Educators, Behaviour Therapists, Speech Therapists,



Physiotherapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, assessments, and parent consultations.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment.
- Follow professional, ethical, and centre-specific documentation and clinical practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Valid registration/licensure as applicable.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
- Freshers with strong interest in pediatric therapy may also apply.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Patient, empathetic, and child-friendly approach.
- Willingness to learn, attend training, and continuously develop clinical skills.
