We are building an emerging fashion venture currently in its pre-launch stage and are looking for a creative, hands-on Founding Assistant Fashion Designer to join us at the very beginning of the journey. It will a womenswear label based in Greater Noida, focused on contemporary eveningwear, occasion wear, and statement silhouettes. As a growing fashion startup, we are looking for a passionate and creative Assistant Fashion Designer who is excited to be part of building a brand from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of seasonal collections.
- Create fashion illustrations, technical sketches, and design presentations.
- Research trends, fabrics, trims, and embellishment techniques.
- Source materials and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Work closely with pattern masters, tailors, and production teams during sampling.
- Prepare tech packs and garment specifications.
- Attend fittings and document design changes.
- Track sample development and ensure timelines are met.
- Assist with photoshoots, content creation, and collection launches when required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design.
- 0–3 years of experience (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of garment construction and textiles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take initiative.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in women’s occasion wear, eveningwear, bridalwear, or luxury fashion.
- Knowledge of embroidery and surface development.
- Understanding of tech pack creation and sampling processes.
