Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing high-quality Continental dishes for café operations while maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Continental dishes such as pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, wraps, and breakfast items
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely food preparation
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development of new café dishes
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Coordinate with Baristas, Café Manager, and service team
- Monitor food cost, portion control, inventory, and wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment
- Follow FSSAI and food safety standards
- Supervise and guide Commis and kitchen helpers
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine




- Expertise in café-style food preparation
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and food presentation
- Menu planning and recipe standardization skills
- Knowledge of food costing and portion control
- Strong teamwork and kitchen management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in Continental cuisine
- Experience as a Continental Chef / CDP / Demi Chef preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in cafés, bistros, restaurants, hotels, resorts, or premium QSRs
- Exposure to contemporary café menus and contemporary Continental cuisine is an added advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
