About the Role

Blueweight is seeking an experienced and skilled quality control and quality assurance executive to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on animal healthcare products across veterinary, cattle, swine, pet, poultry, and aquaculture segments.

This position also offers the unique opportunity to contribute to our future expansion into human nutraceutical formulations along with existing formulations. You will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of our existing product lines while supporting our long-term vision of establishing an advanced nutraceutical formulation plant.

Key Responsibilities: Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA)

- Conduct analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Perform instrumental analysis (HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Dissolution, KF, etc.) for animal healthcare formulations.
- Ensure all lab testing adheres to GMP, GLP, and Blueweight SOPs.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Document all analytical data as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Assist in sampling of raw materials, packing materials, and intermediate products.
- Support investigations related to OOS, OOT, and deviations.
- Review and approve BMR, BPR, SOPs, and specifications for veterinary and aquaculture products.




- Ensure in-process quality checks and line clearance for manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Manage quality systems such as Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, and Risk Management.
- Participate in internal and external audits; support regulatory compliance activities.
- Oversee document control, master documents, and batch record reviews.
- Coordinate raw material, packing material, and finished goods release.
- Contribute to validation activities including equipment qualification, process validation, cleaning validation, and method validation.
- Participate in R&D; quality alignment for new nutraceutical formulations or any other formulations.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, or life sciences.
- 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA, preferably in veterinary, animal healthcare, feed supplements, aquaculture, pharma, or nutraceutical sectors.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, GDP, regulatory guidelines, and quality systems.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing environment.
