We are looking for a creative and detail-orientated luxury fashion designer to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of luxury fashion, fabrics, garment construction, embellishments, and current market trends. You will be responsible for developing distinctive collections that combine refined aesthetics, craftsmanship, and commercial appeal.

Key Responsibilities

- Research luxury fashion trends, colours, fabrics, silhouettes, and customer preferences.
- Develop original concepts, mood boards, sketches, and seasonal collections.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, and finishes.
- Create detailed design specifications and coordinate sample development.
- Work closely with pattern makers, tailors, artisans, and production teams.
- Conduct fittings and make corrections to achieve the required fit and finish.
- Ensure consistency in quality, craftsmanship, and brand identity.
- Manage multiple designs and collection timelines simultaneously.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, marketing, and photography teams.
- Monitor production samples and resolve design or quality-related issues.

Requirements





- Degree or diploma in fashion design from a recognised institution.
- Relevant experience in luxury, couture, bridal, occasion wear, or premium fashion.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating originality and technical ability.
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, draping, and surface techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Strong sketching, communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
- A refined visual sense and close attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with embroidery, embellishment, and artisan-led techniques.
- Familiarity with Indian and international luxury-fashion trends.
- Knowledge of sourcing, costing, and production processes.
