Vista Residency is an established interior design and execution company with 35 years of experience in creating refined residential interiors in South Delhi.

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Interior Designer / Working Drawings Specialist who can translate interior design concepts into accurate, detailed and execution-ready technical drawings.

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for preparing interior design drawings, working drawings, detailed elevations, sections and construction details in AutoCAD.

You should have a strong understanding of interior detailing and be able to interpret design concepts, plans and elevations and convert them into drawings that can be used by site teams, contractors and craftsmen for execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed interior working drawings in AutoCAD
- Develop accurate floor plans, furniture layouts and setting-out drawings
- Prepare detailed wall elevations for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and other spaces
- Prepare ceiling plans and reflected ceiling plans
- Prepare detailed sections and construction details
- Develop wall paneling, fluting, moulding, POP and false-ceiling details
- Prepare detailed drawings for wardrobes, cabinets, TV units, bar units, vanities and other built-in furniture
- Prepare kitchen and bathroom detailing
- Develop door, window and partition details
- Prepare flooring patterns and flooring layout drawings




- Prepare electrical and lighting layouts based on the interior design
- Coordinate drawings with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other services where required
- Provide detailed dimensions, levels, material specifications and annotations
- Ensure drawings are accurate, properly scaled and execution-ready
- Revise drawings based on design changes and site requirements
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, contractors and site teams
- Visit sites when required to take measurements and verify existing conditions
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, title blocks and drawing documentation

Required Skills

- Strong command of AutoCAD 2D
- Good understanding of interior working drawings and construction detailing
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings
- Good knowledge of dimensions, levels, sections, elevations and construction methods
- Understanding of materials and how they are executed on site
- Ability to produce drawings with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to understand a designer's intent and convert it into practical technical drawings
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred





Experience in high-end residential interiors, particularly in Delhi/NCR, will be an advantage.

Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or other design software is a plus, but strong AutoCAD and interior detailing skills are the primary requirement.
