Position: Mother Teacher – Primary

About the Role

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Mother Teacher to join our Primary School team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with young learners and capable of creating a positive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment.

The teacher will be responsible for the overall academic, emotional, and social development of students while maintaining effective communication with parents and the school team.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate for primary-age students.
- Teach and integrate core primary subjects as per the school's curriculum.
- Create a positive, protected, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Monitor students' academic progress and identify individual learning needs.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and classroom resources.
- Conduct regular classwork, homework, tests, and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance, and student development.
- Encourage students to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Develop students' communication, social, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Provide individual attention and academic support to students wherever required.




- Maintain classroom discipline through positive and age-appropriate strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, training sessions, and other academic activities.
- Coordinate with coordinators and other teachers to ensure smooth academic functioning.
- Follow the school's teaching methodologies, academic schedules, and policies.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any relevant discipline.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed./NTT or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience as a Primary/Mother Teacher in a reputed school will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent classroom management abilities.
- Patient, caring, approachable, and child-friendly personality.
- Good command of English.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and technology.
- Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners.
