Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Manager – Managed Print Services (MPS) is responsible for designing customer-centric print management solutions, supporting the sales team during the sales cycle, and delivering compelling technical and commercial proposals. The role involves understanding customer print environments, conducting assessments, preparing solution designs, developing business cases, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and ensuring seamless transition from sales to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue MPS opportunities.
- Conduct customer discovery meetings and assess existing print infrastructure.
- Perform print environment audits, fleet assessments, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Design optimized Managed Print Services solutions based on customer requirements.
- Develop technical proposals, solution presentations, Statements of Work (SOW), and commercial documentation.
- Prepare responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders with complete technical and commercial compliance.
- Create pricing models, cost estimations, ROI calculations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Present MPS solutions to CXOs, IT teams, procurement, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with OEM partners and internal technical teams for solution validation.
- Support product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and customer workshops.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with operational capabilities and profitability targets.
- Maintain a repository of solution templates, case studies, and proposal documents.
- Keep updated on market trends, OEM technologies,



security features, and print management software.
- Provide knowledge transfer to delivery and implementation teams after project closure.
- Support account managers in upselling and cross-selling managed services and document solutions.

Required Skills

- Solid understanding of Managed Print Services (MPS) lifecycle.
- Knowledge of enterprise printers, multifunction devices, scanners, and document management solutions.
- Experience with print assessment and fleet management tools.
- Understanding of print security, workflow automation, and document digitization.
- Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
- Experience in preparing RFP/RFQ responses.
- Strong commercial acumen with pricing and cost modelling.
- Customer-focused consultative selling approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

- Print management solutions (e.g., PaperCut, uniFLOW, YSoft SafeQ, Equitrac)
- OEM platforms such as HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Epson, Brother, Kyocera
- Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Endpoint and print security concepts

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
- MBA (Marketing or Sales) is an added advantage.

Experience

- 6–10 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Managed Print Services (MPS), Office Automation, or Document Management Solutions.
- Proven experience in designing enterprise MPS solutions and managing large customer engagements.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
