Position Overview:The Reviews/Retainer Specialist supports payroll compliance reviews, amendments, and advisory services.Technology Skills, Competencies & Responsibilities:Review client documentation for accuracyFormat and organize deliverablesPerform compliance reviewsComplete retro pay calculationsPrepare IRS and state amendmentsDraft response letters for noticesReview and analyze tax noticesConduct payroll tax researchDocument findings and recommendationsProcess state tax paymentsManage client ShareFile foldersAdditional skills set, Qualification and Experience:Qualifications - graduate degrees in B.Com or MBAFPC or CPP certificationStrong payroll and payroll tax knowledgeExperience researching payroll tax lawExperience with amendmentsExperience with Compliance ReviewsStrong attention to details & analytical skillsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word and a basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.Experience in a skilled services work environment.Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively while balancing many projects simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines with good attention to detail.
