Job DescriptionTitle: Sales Specialist - Microscopy/nLocation: Chennai, Bhubaneswar, and Kerala/nDivision: Microimaging/nPrimary Role/nThe ideal candidate for this position will excel at generating and securing new business opportunities for the Micro Imaging division, which specializes in high-end microscopes, advanced imaging solutions, and related equipment. Utilising a technical sales approach and leveraging their expertise, they will identify and qualify leads, creating sales opportunities with both new and existing customers in the field of micro imaging instruments. A science and technology enthusiast with an interest in sales and business development/nJob Description/n/n- Identify and develop new sales leads for high-end microscopy and imaging products/n- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by building a robust customer pipeline/n- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and technical discussions with potential clients/n- Collaborate with channel partners, distributors,
and internal teams for sales and support activities/n- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system/n- Participate in industry events, including seminars, exhibitions, training sessions, and product launches/n- Stay updated on market trends, tenders, and institutional procurement opportunities/n- Manage end-to-end sales cycle, including quotations, negotiations, order closing, and payment collection/n- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers/n/nJob Requirements/n/n- Willingness to travel extensively to meet customers and drive business growth/n- Solid problem-solving mindset and ability to handle technically advanced equipment/n- High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation/n- Comfortable working independently as well as within cross-functional teams/n/nExperience & Qualification/n/n- MSc.
