About The Role

We are seeking a Specialist - Industrial IoT with strong expertise in SampleManager LIMS and LabVantage to support LIMS migration, workflow development, application customization, data harmonization, and enterprise integrations. The role focuses on migrating legacy SampleManager environments to LabVantage 21.3, modernizing customizations, and delivering scalable laboratory solutions.

Job Description

The role involves leading migration and upgrade activities from legacy SampleManager environments to LabVantage 21.3, including analyzing existing customizations and converting VGL implementations into configurable workflows wherever possible. The position emphasizes reducing custom development by leveraging standard LabVantage functionality and framework capabilities.

You will also develop workflows, applications, forms, labels, database solutions, and integrations with SAP, Inventory Management systems, laboratory instruments, and other enterprise applications. The role includes data migration, testing, production support, troubleshooting, and ensuring data quality and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead migration activities from legacy SampleManager environments to LabVantage 21.3.
- Analyze existing customizations and convert VGL implementations into configurable workflows where feasible.
- Design and maintain LabVantage workflows, business rules, automation, notifications, and approval processes.
- Develop and customize solutions using VGL, .NET, and JavaScript where applicable.
- Design laboratory forms, reports, labels, barcode, and label-printing solutions.




- Support data harmonization, data migration, and master/reference data standardization.
- Develop and maintain integrations with SAP, Inventory Management systems, laboratory instruments, and external applications.
- Develop SQL solutions, support database performance tuning, testing, UAT, deployments, and production issue resolution.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on expertise in SampleManager/LabVantage LIMS, including migration, workflow development, VGL, .NET, and data management.
