AI-First Engineering Culture
Script Assist operates in an AI-enabled engineering environment.
We encourage engineers to use modern AI tools intelligently for:
- Understanding requirements
- Planning test coverage
- Writing test code
- Debugging
- Improving assertions
- Investigating failures
- Learning new concepts
- Improving productivity
You do not need to come from a company where AI was already deeply embedded.
Some employers restrict the use of AI tools with production code.
What matters is that you are curious about AI, comfortable learning new tools, interested in using AI to improve your engineering work, and able to review and understand code generated with AI rather than blindly accepting it.
This Role Is Likely a Good Fit If You
- Are early in your QA automation career
- Enjoy writing code
- Have already used Playwright
- Want to become a stronger automation engineer
- Enjoy debugging
- Like understanding how products actually work
- Pay attention to edge cases
- Want exposure to complex production software
- Learn quickly
- Enjoy modern engineering tools
This Role Is Probably Not a Fit
If Your Experience Is Mainly
- Manual testing only
- Executing pre-written test cases
- Bug reporting without automation coding
- Record-and-playback testing tools
- Very simple website testing only
- Testing without writing code
- Senior QA management
- QA team leadership rather than hands-on automation
You must have personally written coded automation.
Why Script Assist
You will work on a real production platform with genuine workflow complexity.
You will have the opportunity to grow from a junior automation engineer into someone capable of owning increasingly sophisticated automated testing.
Apply
Apply if you are a Junior QA Automation Engineer, QA Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, or Junior SDET with hands-on Playwright experience and want to accelerate your automation-engineering career.
