Role Description The Home Automation KNX Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining KNX-based home automation systems in residential projects, ensuring all devices and components function reliably and according to design specifications. The technician will interpret wiring diagrams and system layouts, perform testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, and coordinate with project managers, designers, and other technicians to deliver high-quality installations. Daily activities include on-site visits, system commissioning, customer demonstrations, and basic user training for clients on how to use smart switches, panels,



and control interfaces. The role also requires accurate documentation of work performed, adherence to safety standards, and continuous learning about new automation technologies and product updates.

Qualifications

- Robust technical skills in electrical installations, low-voltage wiring, and integration of home automation systems (KNX experience highly preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and system layouts, with solid troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Familiarity with smart home devices, control systems, networking basics (routers, switches, IP addressing), and configuration of automation software tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and interact professionally with clients during installation and handover.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple on-site tasks and documentation.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or degree in electrical, electronics, or a related field; KNX certification or similar automation credentials are an advantage.
- Prior experience in home automation, building management systems, or related electrical service roles is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site across Hyderabad, adapt to evolving technologies, and participate in ongoing training and skill development.
