Job Description (JD) – Service Technician

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused EV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electric vehicles. The technician will be responsible for vehicle inspection, troubleshooting technical issues, battery and electrical system checks, and providing quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Ola Electric vehicles.
2. Inspect EV systems including battery pack, motor, controller, wiring, and electrical components.
3. Identify and resolve vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and software.
4. Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
5. Repair and replace defective parts as required.
6. Handle customer complaints and provide technical solutions.
7. Maintain service quality standards and follow company repair guidelines.
8. Update service records and maintain proper documentation.
9. Ensure workplace safety and proper handling of tools and equipment.
10. Coordinate with the service team for smooth workshop operations.

Required Skills:
1.



Knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and components.
2. Experience in two-wheeler electrical and mechanical repair.
3. Ability to troubleshoot battery, motor, controller, and wiring issues.
4. Basic knowledge of diagnostic tools and software.
5. Positive problem-solving and technical skills.
6. Customer handling and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification:
1. ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, or Mechanical field preferred.
2. Experience in EV, automobile, or two-wheeler servicing preferred.

Experience:
1. 1–3 years of experience in EV / two-wheeler service technician role preferred.
2. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
