Destination Knowledge: International Travel – Long Haul & Short Haul

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Travel Sales Consultant /Sr Travel Sales Consultant to join our International Sales team. The ideal candidate should have strong destination knowledge across Long Haul and Short Haul international destinations and experience in selling tailor-made holidays and travel packages .
You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, creating customized itineraries, managing the complete sales cycle, and converting leads into confirmed bookings while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle pre-assigned leads and convert them into confirmed international holiday bookings.
- Understand customer preferences, budget, travel dates, and requirements to recommend suitable packages.
- Design and sell customized itineraries for both Short Haul and Long Haul destinations .
- Provide accurate information on destinations, hotels, activities, transportation,



visa requirements, currency, weather, and local customs.
- Manage customer communication and follow-ups throughout the sales journey.
- Negotiate package pricing and customization while maintaining healthy margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat and referral business.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales and revenue targets .
- Stay updated with new destinations, travel trends, products, and market offerings.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a smooth handover after booking confirmation.

Destination KnowledgeMandatory: Solid knowledge of international destinations with hands-on experience in either or both:
Long Haul: Europe, Japan, Australia, etc.
Short Haul: Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, etc.
Strong knowledge of Europe/Japan or other Long Haul destinations will be an added advantage.
