Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role based in Chennai. The Retail Salesperson will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized styling and product recommendations that align with EDWAN’s premium positioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining product features, fits, and fabric details, managing trials and fittings, and ensuring a clean, well-organized showroom. The role also involves handling sales transactions, assisting with stock display and replenishment, and supporting visual merchandising.



The Retail Salesperson will work closely with the team to meet sales targets, deliver high-quality customer service, and uphold the brand’s standards in every interaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to engage customers, drive conversions, and achieve store targets.
Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge and an interest in fashion or ethnic wear to confidently explain fabrics, fits, and design details.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build rapport, understand customer preferences, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Candidates should possess basic numeracy and POS handling skills for billing, cash management, and inventory support.
Previous experience in fashion retail or premium apparel sales is preferred but not mandatory.
