JOB DESCRIPTION

Must Have Skills:

Experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
Experience with Microfocus in architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions in Microfocus.
Experience in migration of Legacy application in highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platform on AWS Cloud
Deep understanding of fundamentals and services of AWS Cloud like VPC, EC2, S3, Auto scaling, RDS, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud
Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads
Valuable understanding of Linux platform
Excellent communication and analytical skills

Good To Have Skills:

Experience in automation and provisioning of AWS cloud environments using API’s,



CLI and scripts
AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:

Assess mainframe enterprise application for migration
Architect, design, lead and perform migration of mainframe enterprise application to AWS with Microfocus as a rehost platform.
Design, develop and implement cloud infrastructure based on AWS cloud services

Minimum Qualification:
15 years of Full Time Education
