Role Description The School Principal at Himalayan Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Barahat. The Principal is responsible for providing instructional leadership, overseeing curriculum implementation, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment. Day-to-day tasks include supervising and mentoring teachers, monitoring student progress, coordinating middle school programs, and engaging with families and the local community. The Principal will manage school operations, including scheduling, compliance with educational standards, and effective use of resources.



The role also involves leading school improvement initiatives, setting goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated Educational Leadership experience, including managing staff, guiding instructional practices, and leading school-wide initiatives.
Curriculum Development expertise, with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate engaging and standards-aligned learning programs.
Strong Communication skills to collaborate with students, families, staff, and external stakeholders in a clear and respectful manner.
Experience working with Middle School learners and a solid understanding of their developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs.
Relevant academic background in Education or a closely related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in school administration are preferred.
