About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous character and weapon animator to join our VR game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, hand-keyed animations for characters and weapons within a performance-constrained environment. You will work closely with rigging, design, and development teams to bring assets to life,



ensuring seamless integration into Unity. The ideal candidate is proficient in rigging, skinning, and animating in Blender, with a solid understanding of Unity’s animation systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge VR project, owning your assets from concept to in-game implementation, and working independently to meet project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animation, rigging, and game development, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. You should have hands-on expertise in character and weapon animation, rigging, and skinning in Blender, along with practical knowledge of Unity's Animator system. Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
