We're looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead Latoya in New Delhi.
We want someone who genuinely loves being on a restaurant floor — meeting guests, building regulars, leading a team, watching the numbers and constantly finding ways to make the restaurant better.
This isn't a role for someone who manages the restaurant from the office.
We want someone who owns the room.
What You'll Own
Guest Experience & The Floor
You will be the leader of the restaurant during service.
- Be highly visible and present on the floor
- Lead service and maintain energy throughout the shift
- Know our regulars and build relationships with new guests
- Read the room and spot problems before guests need to complain
- Handle guest recovery personally and intelligently
- Ensure every table feels looked after without making hospitality feel scripted
- Work the room during busy periods rather than simply supervising it
We want guests to remember the people at Latoya, not just what they ordered.
Build Regulars
One of your most key jobs is turning first-time guests into people who return.
Know:
Who are our regulars?
Who hasn't returned recently?
Who celebrated something with us?
Who had an exceptional experience?
Who had a bad one that we need to recover?
Who should we recognise the moment they walk through the door?
Work closely with the Community Manager to turn these relationships into a genuine Latoya community.
Lead the Team
Build a front-of-house team that is warm, confident, knowledgeable and switched on.
- Recruit, train and develop the FOH team
- Run effective pre-shift briefings
- Set standards through your own behaviour
- Develop captains and supervisors beneath you
- Coach weak performers and recognise strong ones
- Maintain discipline, grooming and service standards
- Build a team that takes pride in the restaurant
