Role Description
Verkyn is looking for a full-time Video Editor based in Chennai to join our creative team.
This is a primarily remote role, so you will be able to work from home for most day-to-day projects. However, candidates must be located in Chennai and be available to occasionally come into the studio or attend client shoots and production requirements when needed.
As a Video Editor,



you will create and edit video content for social media, advertising campaigns, and other digital platforms while ensuring every deliverable aligns with the client's brand, creative direction, and campaign objectives.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, identifying the strongest takes, structuring edits, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, performing basic audio cleanup, and color grading footage. You will also collaborate closely with producers, designers, strategists, and other members of the creative team to develop storylines and improve the overall quality of content.
You will be expected to prepare final exports optimized for different platforms and formats, contribute creative ideas and visual references, maintain consistent quality standards, and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency setting.
