About the Role

The K Factor Productions is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms, micro-films, reels, promotional videos, and branded content.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos, reels, micro-films, promotional and branded content.
- Understand scripts, concepts and creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual stories.
- Handle complete post-production workflow including cutting, transitions, pacing, sound design, music and basic color correction.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube content and other social-media videos.
- Work closely with directors, content writers, creative teams and production teams.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, effects and other visual elements wherever required.
- Maintain consistency in visual style, quality and brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Organize and maintain project files, footage and editing assets.




- Stay updated with current editing trends, social-media formats and visual storytelling techniques.

Required Skills
- 3–5 years of skilled video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and/or DaVinci Resolve will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of cuts, pacing, transitions, storytelling and visual composition.
- Good knowledge of sound mixing, music selection and basic color grading.
- Ability to create engaging content specifically for social media.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to understand and execute creative briefs independently.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred
- Experience in production houses, digital media, advertising, entertainment or content creation.
