Role Description The Design Draftsman role is a part-time remote position focused on preparing detailed technical drawings and design documentation for interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design concepts into accurate engineering and architectural drawings, creating layout plans, and updating drawings based on design revisions or client feedback. The Design Draftsman will use CAD tools to produce precise 2D and 3D drawings,
coordinate with designers to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards, and maintain organized drawing files for ongoing and completed projects. This role requires effective communication with the design team through digital channels and timely delivery of high-quality draft designs.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Technical Drawing and general Drawing skills for interior and structural detailing.
Ability to produce accurate Engineering Drawings for modular elements and construction-related components.
Experience creating explicit and practical Architectural Drawings, including floor plans and elevations.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D and 3D drafting and design visualization.
Relevant diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Attention to detail, ability to interpret design briefs, and adherence to measurements and specifications.
Strong time management skil
