Role Overview

We're hiring Business Leads for our Brands — the single person accountable for this brand's growth and bottom line. This is not a narrow marketing or operations role. You will own the full business: strategy, P&L;, and day-to-day decisions across every function that touches the brand. You won't be building a team from scratch to do this. Instead, you'll draw on oCommerce's shared Centers of Excellence — Creative & Earned Media, Performance Marketing, Web & Tech, Ecommerce Operations, and Business Development — to execute against your brand's priorities, while you own the judgment calls: what to build, what to fix, what to scale, and what to say no to. Key Responsibilities

Full P&L; responsibility for Brand — revenue, margins, profitability, and the plan to grow all three
Brand strategy and prioritization — deciding what the brand needs most right now, and directing shared functional teams (creative, performance marketing, web/tech,



ecommerce ops, BD) accordingly
Product and merchandising direction — what to launch, what to retire, what to double down on
Customer and growth strategy — acquisition, retention, and everything in between
Pricing, promotions, and unit economics — protecting and improving margin, not just chasing top-line growth
Cross-functional coordination — working closely with shared Centers of Excellence rather than owning headcount directly; your leverage comes from prioritization and judgment, not team size
Performance reporting — regularly presenting brand health, wins, risks, and plans to company leadership

Qualifications & Skills

Owned a P&L; before — ideally for a D2C, ecommerce, or consumer brand — and can speak fluently in both growth metrics and margin.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Comfortable using AI for work.
