About The Role

We are seeking a talented and autonomous Animator to join our agile team working on a state-of-the-art VR project built in Unity for standalone headsets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing characters and weapons to life through high-quality, hand-keyed animations. You will have ownership of your assets from initial concept to in-game implementation, working independently to rig,



animate, export, and integrate assets seamlessly into Unity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a project that emphasizes performance optimization, creative expression, and technical precision. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our 3D, Design, and Development teams to ensure animations enhance the overall game feel and player experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in character and weapon animation, with demonstrated experience in rigging and skinning in Blender. You should have a portfolio or reel showcasing your ability to produce clean, expressive, and technically sound animations. Proficiency with Unity's Animator system, including state machines, transitions, blend trees, and avatar setup, is essential.
