Job Description – Account ManagerCompany:SLTL Group – Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd.Department:Finance & AccountsDesignation:Account ManagerLocation:Gandhinagar, GujaratExperience:6–8 YearsEducation:B.Com + MBA (Finance)Employment Type:Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-orientedAccount Managerto manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management with timely MIS and financial insights.The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, positive knowledge of statutory compliance, and the ability to independently handle finance & accounts activities in a manufacturing/engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, includingAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Journal Entries .Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions in the ERP/accounting system.Prepare and reviewmonthly MIS, management reports, ageing reports, and financial statements .Monitor receivables, payables, collections, and vendor payments.HandleGST, TDS, and other statutory compliancesin coordination with internal/external consultants.Coordinate with auditors forinternal, statutory, tax, and other audits .Support monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial closing activities .Review ledgers, trial balances, expense statements, and account reconciliations.Monitor accounting accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, HR, Operations, and other departments for finance-related requirements.Support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis,



and variance analysis.Prepare financial data and reports required by senior management.Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.Guide and coordinate with junior team members to ensure smooth finance operations.Support management in improving financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge ofaccounting principles and financial processes .Good understanding ofGST, TDS, and statutory compliance .Strong knowledge ofMS Excel and accounting/ERP software .Experience inMIS reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis .Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.Leadership ability to guide junior accounting team members.EligibilityB.Com is mandatory.MBA / PGDM in Finance is preferred/mandatory.6–8 years of relevant experiencein Finance & Accounts.Candidates with experience inmanufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technology-driven organizationswill be preferred.Should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, MIS, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting.Preferred Candidate ProfileWe are looking for someone who is:Strong incore accounting and finance operations .Comfortable working in amanufacturing/industrial organization .Capable of independently managing accounting activities and deadlines.Experienced in coordinating with multiple departments.Mature, responsible, and capable of handling confidential financial information.Ready to take ownership of finance & accounts processes and support management decision-making.
