Role Description The Roller Operator is responsible for operating road rollers and related compaction equipment to support construction and roadwork projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing the work area, inspecting and maintaining the roller, compacting soil, asphalt, and other materials according to project specifications, and following instructions from site supervisors and engineers. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures,



coordination with other machine operators and labor teams, and accurate reporting of any equipment issues or site hazards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttar Pradesh, India, and may involve working in varying weather conditions and on different project sites within the region.
Qualifications

Proven ability to operate road rollers or similar heavy compaction equipment safely and efficiently.
Basic understanding of construction site procedures, roadwork processes, and material compaction requirements.
Knowledge of safety practices, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with site safety rules.
Ability to perform routine equipment checks, minor maintenance, and reporting of mechanical issues.
Physical fitness to work in outdoor environments, stand for extended periods, and handle manual tasks as required.
Good communication skills to follow instructions, coordinate with site tea
