Elevator Erector – Job Profile

Position: Elevator Erector / Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation and erection of passenger, home and commercial elevators.

* Installation of guide rails, brackets, doors, machine/gearless systems, ropes, safety components and elevator cabins.

* Carry out elevator installation work as per approved drawings and safety standards.

* Alignment, leveling and mechanical assembly of elevator components.

* Assist commissioning engineers during testing and trial runs.

* Identify and rectify installation-related issues.

* Follow site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

* Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other site teams.

* Complete installation work within the scheduled project timeline.





Required Skills:

* 1–5 years of experience in elevator/lift erection or installation.

* Knowledge of elevator mechanical components and installation procedures.

* Ability to read basic drawings and understand measurements.

* Comfortable working at height and on construction sites.

* Good teamwork and discipline.

* ITI/technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
