Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.

- Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and systematically.

- Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

- Prepare customer invoices and follow up on collections.

- Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

- Assist with payroll processing and related activities.

- Support internal and external audits.

- Prepare AR/AP reports and financial dashboards.

- Perform ledger reconciliations and job profitability analysis.

- Process documentation for overseas payments.

Required Skills Experience





- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Hands-on experience with GST and TDS compliance.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or freight-specific accounting systems.

- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry with exposure to general accounting.
