Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Equity Dealer responsible for executing equity trades, monitoring market movements, interacting with clients, and supporting business growth through effective client servicing and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute buy and sell orders in equity markets accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor market trends, news, and technical indicators to identify trading opportunities.
- Provide market updates and relevant trading insights to clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and understand their trading requirements.
- Generate trading opportunities and support revenue growth through client engagement.
- Cross-sell relevant financial products and investment solutions to existing clients.
- Monitor positions and ensure adherence to risk management guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of trades and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively use trading terminals and market analysis tools for trade execution and monitoring.
- Achieve assigned business and revenue targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience as an Equity Dealer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, trading practices, and financial products.
- Valuable understanding of technical analysis and market indicators.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and trading platforms/terminals.
- NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives Certification is mandatory.
