Senior Purchase Manager

Location: Gujarwadi, Pune

Education: Graduate in any discipline

Industry: Plumbing & Building Materials Preferred/ Any

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Purchase Manager with 3–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably from the Plumbing, Building Materials, Plumbing Systems, Drainage Systems, or CP & Sanitary industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.

- Source plumbing and building material products as per business requirements.

- Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable vendors/suppliers.

- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.

- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).

- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Coordinate with Stores/Warehouse to monitor stock levels and material requirements.

- Handle shortages, damaged/incorrect materials and vendor-related issues.

- Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.





- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations and related documentation.

- Coordinate with Accounts, Stores, Sales/Projects and Management for smooth procurement operations.

- Monitor market rates and maintain updated supplier/pricing information.

Candidate Preference: Candidates residing within 5–10 km of Gujar Nimbalkarwadi will be preferred.

Note: Relevant experience in plumbing/building materials or related procurement will be an advantage.
