Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer with 3–5 years of experience to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. The candidate will be responsible for identifying workplace hazards, conducting safety inspections, implementing safety procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular workplace/site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Implement and monitor company HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and regular safety training.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by employees and contractors.
- Monitor compliance with safe work procedures and applicable safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, permits, and documentation.
- Conduct emergency drills, fire-safety checks, and evacuation procedures.




- Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with supervisors, workers, contractors, and management on safety matters.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety standards.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer/HSE Officer.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, ADIS, DIS, or other recognized safety certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, risk assessment, PPE, fire safety, and emergency response.
- Valuable knowledge of safety documentation and reporting.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation and hazard-identification skills.
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks and safety training.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain safety discipline on site.
