In an Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), a Front Line Sales (FLS) role within a channel sales setup (such as Direct Sales, Agency, or Indirect/Intermediary channels like DSAs) is responsible for driving ground-level customer acquisition, managing partner relationships
Core Roles and Responsibilities
· Customer
Acquisition & Sourcing:
o Generate fresh leads through field visits, open-market canvassing, cold calling, and local promotional activities.
o Source retail or corporate lending products (such as personal loans, business loans, home loans, or loan against property).
· Channel
Partner Management:
o Build and maintain robust working relationships with Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), local connectors, builders, or financial advisors.
o Coordinate regularly with channel partners to drive steady deal flows and secondary referrals.
· End-to-End
Deal Processing:
o Manage the loan journey from initial login and documentation collection to credit underwriting coordination and final disbursement.
o Counsel clients on product terms, eligibility, and repayment structures.
o Portfolio Quality & Compliance:
o Conduct preliminary KYC and basic financial/credit checks (such as verifying CIBIL standing) to ensure file hygiene.
o Assist internal collections teams if early payment defaults or delinquency risks arise. [
· Reporting
& Target Tracking:
o Maintain daily sales reports, lead pipelines, and Market Information System (MIS) records.
o Achieve assigned monthly or quarterly target volumes for sourcing and disbursal.
