About the Role

Xenovex Technologies is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to own and drive our cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations function. This role is central to keeping our production systems, security posture, and monitoring stack running reliably, while continuing to modernize our infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will work closely with development and leadership teams, manage vendor and licensing relationships, and act as a technical authority on system administration, networking, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments, including provisioning, user/permission management, and performance troubleshooting.

Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including cost-optimized architectures for scaling systems.

Own network administration end-to-end: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN (IKEv2/SSL, FortiGate, Pritunl), reverse proxies, load balancing, and firewall configuration.

¢ Configure and optimize web servers (Nginx, Apache) including virtual hosts, SSL/TLS, security headers, and reverse proxy setups for production workloads.

¢ Manage production databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MariaDB/MySQL) including migrations, backup/restore, and performance tuning.

¢ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git/Gitea) and automation scripts (Bash, Python) for deployments, backups, and health checks.

¢ Administer Microsoft 365 environment: Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Teams, licensing, and Partner Center management.

¢ Operate and maintain the security and monitoring stack: Zabbix, Wazuh XDR/SIEM, Grafana, ELK, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.

¢ Manage identity and access infrastructure: Samba AD, LDAP, Kerberos, and domain administration for on-premises systems.

¢ Maintain ISO compliance as Management Representative (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000),



including audits and documentation.

¢ Lead IT operations planning: disaster recovery, backup strategy, infrastructure documentation, and vendor/license management.

¢ Evaluate and pilot AI infrastructure initiatives, including self-hosted LLM/SLM sizing and deployment for internal use cases.

¢ Manage IP camera and live streaming infrastructure: RTSP/RTMP stream configuration, Ant Media Server (or similar) deployment, NVR/DVR setup, storage sizing, remote/mobile access, and integration with the network and monitoring stack.

Required Skills & Experience

¢ 5+ years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years in cloud and infrastructure engineering.

¢ Hands-on experience with at least two of: GCP, AWS, Azure (multi-cloud exposure strongly preferred).

¢ Strong Linux system administration skills; working knowledge of Windows Server administration.

¢ Proven networking expertise: firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, and troubleshooting production connectivity issues.

¢ Experience with Nginx/Apache web server configuration and production troubleshooting (e.g., PHP-FPM, high-traffic incident response).

¢ Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and scripting in Python and/or Bash.

¢ Experience with monitoring/SIEM tools such as Zabbix, Wazuh, Grafana, or ELK.

¢ Familiarity with identity management (AD/LDAP/Kerberos) and M365 administration.

¢ ISO 27001 / 9001 / 20000 exposure is a strong plus.

¢ Experience with IP camera/CCTV systems, streaming protocols (RTSP/RTMP/ONVIF), Ant Media Server or similar streaming servers, and NVR/DVR administration is a plus.

¢ Strong documentation habits and ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
