Video Editing InternFull-Time Internship | 3 Months | HSR Layout, Bengaluru

About MindframesMindframes is a Bengaluru-based video production company creating high-quality films for businesses, brands and organisations.

Our work spans corporate films, industrial videos, customer testimonials, interior and architecture films, product videos, brand campaigns and digital content. We work with businesses ranging from emerging companies to established Indian and global brands, handling projects from creative development and production through editing and final delivery.

We are a hands-on production team with strong capabilities across direction, cinematography, editing and post-production. We care deeply about visual storytelling, craft and creating work that serves a real business purpose.

About the RoleWe are looking for a Video Editing Intern to join our team full-time for a three-month internship.

This is not an observational internship. You will work on live client projects, edit professionally shot footage and collaborate closely with our directors and production team from the beginning.

The role is designed as a pathway to a permanent position. Candidates who successfully complete the three-month internship and meet our quality and performance expectations will be offered a full time Video Editor role at Mindframes.

We are looking for someone early in their career who already understands the fundamentals of editing but wants to develop significantly stronger skills in storytelling, pacing, sound, colour and professional post-production workflows.

What You Will Work On

- Edit corporate films, industrial videos, testimonials, brand films, interior and architecture videos, product films and digital content
- Assemble raw footage into clear, engaging visual stories
- Work with directors and the creative team to interpret briefs and establish the right narrative and visual treatment

- Create both long-form films and shorter social or campaign edits from the same production
- Select strong shots, performances, interview moments and B-roll from large volumes of footage
- Work with music, sound design, dialogue and ambient audio to improve the overall viewing experience
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading
- Clean and balance dialogue and production audio
- Add titles, graphics, transitions and motion elements where appropriate
- Create multiple aspect-ratio and platform-specific versions when required
- Organise footage, project files, proxies, exports and project archives systematically
- Incorporate internal and client feedback accurately across revision rounds
- Support the production team during shoots when required and develop a practical understanding of cameras, lighting and production workflows

What We Are Looking For
- Some hands-on video editing experience through personal projects, college work, internships or freelance assignments
- Good working knowledge of professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a strong advantage
- A strong visual sense and attention to detail
- Understanding of editing fundamentals including pacing, continuity, shot selection and storytelling
- Basic knowledge of colour correction and grading
- Basic understanding of audio editing and sound design
- An understanding of typography, composition, colour and visual hierarchy
- Ability to take feedback and improve an edit without becoming overly attached to the first version

- Ability to organise files and work methodically
- Reliability, consistency and respect for deadlines
- Curiosity and willingness to learn quickly

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who cares about the quality of the final film. Technical skills can improve quickly; visual judgement, attention and commitment matter just as much. Nice to Have

- A degree, diploma or certification in Film, Media, Visual Communication, Animation or a related field
- A showreel or portfolio demonstrating your editing ability
- Experience with motion graphics
- Familiarity with professional camera formats and Log footage
- Basic understanding of cameras, lenses and lighting
- Previous exposure to a production house, agency, studio or professional post-production workflow
- Experience editing interviews, testimonials or narrative business content

What You Will Get
- A paid, three-month full-time internship
- Opportunity to transition into a full-time Video Editor position after successful completion of the internship
- Hands-on experience working on real commercial productions
- Exposure to the complete filmmaking process — from shoot planning and production through post-production and delivery
- Direct feedback and mentorship from experienced filmmakers and creative professionals
- Opportunity to work across different industries, visual styles and production formats
- Significant responsibility and creative involvement from an early stage
- A five-day working week, Monday to Friday

LocationHSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka This is a full-time, on-site role. Candidates should be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate.

ApplicationPlease apply with your resume and portfolio/showreel.
