Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing engaging video content that communicates complex scientific concepts in a clear, visual, and compelling way. This full-time, in office role based in Mumbai includes tasks such as assembling raw footage, creating narrative flow, adding motion graphics, optimizing audio and visual quality, and color grading.

The Video

Editor will collaborate closely with the founder and content team to plan video structures, refine scripts, select visuals,



and ensure consistency with the channel’s educational and creative vision. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining organized project files, preparing content for multiple platforms, incorporating feedback, and meeting production timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for creating educational and visually engaging assets.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Experience editing educational, science, or technology-related content is a plus.
- Strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex ideas into clear visual narratives are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai, manage deadlines, and adapt to iterative feedback is expected.
- A relevant degree or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
