Verification Engineer III ASIC/SoC Verification

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Verification Engineer to join a CPU/GPU ASIC development team. The role involves functional verification of complex ASIC/IP blocks, developing verification plans, executing directed and constrained-random tests, and debugging issues across block, chip, and system levels.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional verification of complex ASIC/IP blocks for CPU/GPU development.
- Develop and execute test plans, including directed and constrained-random testing.
- Work closely with Design, Verification, Architecture, and System teams.
- Debug functional issues using simulation and industry-standard debug methodologies.
- Contribute to evolving SoC verification methodologies and infrastructure.
- Apply hardware modeling and assertion-based verification techniques.
- Analyze failures and provide effective solutions within project timelines.
- Own resource tracking, status reporting, and issue communication with key stakeholders.




- Prepare and present project status updates and reviews to internal stakeholders and senior management.

Required Skills :

- 69 years of hands-on verification experience in large ASIC/SoC development projects.
- Strong C/C++ development experience in a Linux environment.
- Robust debugging skills with tools such as GDB and Valgrind.
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, STL, Computer Architecture, and Data Structures.
- Knowledge of Perl and Makefiles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC.
- Knowledge of C/Verilog environments using DPI/PLI.
- Experience with hardware modeling or Assertion-Based Verification (ABV).
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and MS Office.
- Experience working in CPU/GPU or complex SoC verification environments.
