- Role & Responsibilities

- • Prepare and handle vegetable oil-based formulations as per approved batch formula.

- • Dispense and verify raw materials according to BMR/MFR.

- • Monitor mixing, homogenization and filtration/sieving of oil formulations.

- • Operate/monitor softgel encapsulation and related equipment.

- • Monitor critical parameters such as fill weight, ribbon thickness, temperature, machine speed and sealing.

- • Check capsules for leakage, appearance, shape, size and sealing defects.

- • Monitor drying conditions and capsule quality during drying.

- • Perform in-process checks and coordinate with QC/IPQA.

- • Maintain BMR, equipment logbooks, cleaning records and other GMP documents.

- • Follow SOP, GMP, safety and hygiene requirements.

- • Handle deviations, breakdowns and process abnormalities and inform the concerned department.

- • Ensure proper line clearance, equipment cleaning and changeover.

- • Minimize rejection and improve yield and productivity.

- • Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Engineering and Warehouse teams.

- • Support validation, qualification,



audits and continuous improvement activities.

- Required Skills
- • Knowledge of Softgel / Veg Oil Capsule manufacturing

- • Knowledge of oil-based formulation and mixing

- • Softgel encapsulation process knowledge

- • Knowledge of fill weight and sealing parameters

- • Understanding of capsule drying and inspection

- • GMP & SOP knowledge

- • BMR/MFR and GMP documentation

- • In-process quality checking

- • Troubleshooting and problem-solving

- • Equipment handling and basic machine knowledge

- • Positive communication and teamwork

- • Attention to detail

- • Safety and housekeeping awareness

- • Knowledge of deviation, CAPA and change control is an added advantage.

- Qualification
- • B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc – Chemistry, B.Sc/M.Sc in relevant Life Sciences can also be considered depending on the organization.

- Experience:
- • 3-6 years in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical production.

- • Experience in Softgel / Veg Oil Capsule manufacturing preferred.
