Upwork Specialist – Software Development

Experience

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and client acquisition for software development companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into software development projects.
- Prepare customized, compelling proposals based on client requirements.
- Communicate professionally with international clients and handle initial discussions.
- Follow up with prospects and manage the bidding pipeline.
- Coordinate with our technical team to understand requirements and prepare suitable proposals.
- Maintain records of proposals, leads, responses, meetings, and projects won.
- Continuously improve bidding strategies based on response and conversion rates.

Target Markets Experience bidding for clients in:
- USA
- UK
- Australia

Project Expertise Candidates should have experience bidding for projects in areas such as:
- Software Development
- Web Development & Web Design
- Mobile App Development
- UI/UX Design
- SaaS Development
- ERP Development
- Custom Web & Software Applications

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Upwork bidding experience.




- Proven track record of projects successfully closed through Upwork.
- Strong understanding of software development services and technical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to understand client requirements and position the right technical solution.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and client relationship skills.
- Portfolio / proof of previous Upwork projects and successful closures is required.
- Candidates with an existing track record of generating international software development leads will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For We are not looking for a generic lead generator. We need someone who understands the software development industry and has a demonstrable history of winning quality Upwork projects from international clients.
